I Love Graffiti, Miles

I think graffiti is a strange one because unlike other subcultures like skateboarding or break dancing, it's sort of harbored this illicit psychic feeling about it. If you're a train driver, you know, you accidentally run over a graffiti writer, that's going to be really traumatic. Some graph is ripe with acid on the side of windows so that it sort of etches into the window and there's, I was told by the representative from the British Transport Police that that can rub off on the hands of cleaners. The question it left me with is, who does the city belong to? And I'd love to hear you reflect on that questionA little bit after writing the piece
