The person in Aquinas is rich, deep. It's not as expansive as contemporary personalism. But he does have the seeds of personalism and his understanding of the person largely wrought in a theological context. I wanted to do it with respect to the human person, which he doesn't write on very frequently,. Though he writes on human nature. And I wanted to doing it in some way that would be compelling to the contemporary generation.
