When i first went into it, i was like, wella, this is just beautiful. And though the ding itself was magnificent, the congregation was tiny and divided and hostile. I remember sitting there seeing this and thinking, upstairs looks beautiful, but it's dying. And downstairs looks like nothing, but this is a taste of the kingdom of heaven on earth. We've been deformed by so many things, consciously chosen sin, families of origin, traumatic events,. seduced by the stories of our culture - participating in practices that don't honour good.
