The Importance of Unconditional Election
Unconditional election is God's sovereign choice, not contingent on anything in the creature. It's not because we would eventually choose him and it's not because of any merit. There's no elect biology that we pass down to future generations to our children and grandchildren. Although we affirm all those things about unconditional election, God has never carried out his predestinated ends apart from his predestination means.
