Can You Use Pellet Beam Propulsion to Move Anything Fast?
Lasers can be used to propel objects at up to 20% the speed of light. The biggest problem is diverging, the diversions of the laser beam. This pellet beam propulsion comes in a similar idea but it's got an interesting twist on it. Evan: If you have a 10 megawatt laser and these pebbles could accelerate a one ton ship to 353,648 kilometers per hour, that would make a hell of a weapon.
