The Importance of Stakes in Moral Views
The natural unit is a kind of longness, degree of longness. But where we fairly naturally say that lying is a bit long and punching someone, that's more long than murdering someone. So one of the things I do is actually explore, and if that's the case, you just can't apply expected utility theory. It's just like Tynepusch's square peg and two of our own total.
