The Importance of Slow Design
When things take longer, we kind of enjoy it. If we take our own time to eat a dinner, it's fun. A conversation that takes a long time, but you forget time is so much more fun. And slow design for the designer is really just good design. It's about being human centric and co-creation. The wheel didn't come about in one day. Somebody took a square block and started chiseling out a little bit at a time. That's how we got around the wheel. There are multiple evolutionary kind of mechanics that work together to form good design. Number three is that we optimize what we measure. We're always optimizing for something or the other
