The Philosophical Problem With Troyology

The trolley problem shows two parallels with that. The first is that humans have some deep moral structure. If you ask these trolley problems of people anywhere in the world if you ask it of the rich or the poor, the educated,. the less educated, the Americans or Indians, men or women, black or white, you get the same response. It suggests that there's perhaps some deep moral grammar that we all share in common. In language, we often follow these linguistic rules. So we might say the big blue elephant and not the blue big elephant. Well, it looks like morality might be a bit like that.
