Kal writtenhouse took the stand in his highly watched homicide trial yesterday. The now 18 year old travelled to conosha last year doing protests over the police shooting of jacob blake, a 29 year old black man. As part of his testimony he claimed he went to protect businesses from property damage and to act as ametic. But the prosecution questioned why he would need to bring an a r 15 stow rifle with him and shoot three people. He currently faces seven total charges, but pleaded not guilty to all of them, saying he feared for his life at the time.
