What Are Scopes?
The idea is that the client knows what they want, right? And so you gave the example of warning people's mal address from facebook. We need a standard for scopes that is well defined. That's one thing that hasn't been well standardized as one of those nuance details. I don't think any of these services are good for authorization at this point - i think they all stink at it.
