The Importance of Racial Concordance in Medicine

Recently, there's been a push for matching patients and providers based on race. Is there any evidence for racial concordance? There's a fair amount of evidence that Black patients will report some increased comfort with Black physicians. But none of this really speaks to long term outcomes.
