"There's so much about vampires that are sexy," she says. "It gave it sort of gave way to to allow heartthrobs and people who maybe weren't super into the vampires or the horror film straight away but they are into Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise and George Clooney." The Lost Boys was a key for Sutherland, as well Joe Schumacher's The Lost Boys right which just like you said I think suddenly for women and for queer men suddenly you had these incredibly sexy vampires making it cool.
