Are You Getting Parasites in Your Gut?
We all have a so called microbiome that consists of populations of bacteria. Depending on exactly what kind of food you eat, you'll increase or decrease the number of some kind of bacterium and so on. Different people will have different microbiomes. And sometimes your microbiom can be in some state where, you know, some particular species of bacteria has worn out. So in some sense, those bacteria are like a parasites living in our gut, except that there they're pretty good for us. But usually when we talk about parasites, it's protozoa, not a, i think, usually things like a mebus and so on...
