The Importance of Early Airway Assessment

The vast majority of patients that you see are pretty well with this and don't have a impending airway disaster. In my experience the slower onset non-histamine mediated so the bradycine mediated angiodema does not lose their airway frequently but I can't put an exact number on it. But there's good rationale for waiting and watching with those patients because serial reexamination of what that swelling looks like is important.
