The study found that women and girls who use social media more were less satisfied with their appearance than those who used it less. The results are more consistent with satisfaction influencing social medives than the other way around. But for a company, from their perspective, if x % of their customers think their product is harming them, then itit really doesn't matter if they're wrong about that or not.
