Social Media Is Just the Top of the Iceberg

A lot of silicon valley ideology that i think has faded in the years since among the rank and file is still alive. Partly it's just like basic human emotional self protection. Ah, you don't want to believe that you're participating in, you know, the new cigarettes of our time. These companies pay really, really well. And, ah, if you want to get through the day at your job there, you don’t want to be seen as doing anything wrong.
