The Teachers Can't Get What They Want by Shutting Down the Plant

i was talking about this with a friend this morning, because somebody was sort of tweeding that, you know, everything be better if unions just struck more. And it's like, that is both true and also not true, because in some cases, you can't get what you want by shutting the fint of the plant down. You either accept those things and the boss gets what he wants, which is cheaper labor or exploitable labor. So now the workers are put in this position of having to sort of talk about how much we want these jobs. It's really important to keep these jobs open. i wish i had better suggestions b you know, teachers are able to win
