The Rise and Fall of Charles the First

In 1641, Charles the first tried to arrest members of parliament. This did not go over well and kicked off the English Civil War. The king managed to drive a wedge between the army and parliament. He managed to kind of split them apart until the point where the second English civil war popped off in the summer of 1648.
