I love you but I don't like you right now. That actually has happened in the first two sessions I've had with some adolescents and their carers. It's kind of a true story. And at the time I was thinking wow well this is intense, this is kind of intimate straight up. But it was so powerful. When we got to the end of the intervention that was the thing that stood out the most for the adolescent. The middle is where you get into the nitty gritty.
