The Design Philosophy of the Android Phone

We want parents to have total control over the data and the information that's being accessed. For us, facebook, 98 % of their revenue comes from ads. We've made the commitment that we will never have ads,. We don't want to treat them as numbers and data and statistics. And so how can we deliver on that in a way that isn't necessarily personally profitable?
