The History of America
In the 1930s, France was a military superpower in that era. And they had put all this money into fortifications to protect themselves from the Germans. The German army just comes in and mows them down. It's a terrible military defeat. I think we may be on a similar rhyming path to be weakening ourselves vis-a-vis the rest of the world if we're paralyzed by this.
