Lawyers and members of the legal profession have spent decades rigging the system so that it doesn't work for people. Forced arbitration clauses are buried in employment contracts, consumer contracts. They essentially say that if you sign this contract, then you waive your right to a jury trial. You're more likely to be struck by lightning than you are to win a case when you are forced into arbitration.
