The Greek Catholic Church Is Not the Same as the Roman Catholic Church

There's an east west division now in Christianity. The church which is called Greek Catholic or Uniet, UNI-A-T-E was formed in 1596 by the union of Brest as an attempt to bring all of eastern and western Christianity together. Andrés Hiptitsky was a fantastically interesting fellow from a Polish aristocratic family who converted to both Greek Catholicism and Polish Catholicism. He went from being a Polish aristocrat, Roman Catholic, to being a Ukrainian churchmen man of the people. But they're part of the Catholic church, right? The Catholic church is not the same thing as the Roman Catholic church. There are many other ways to be Catholic.
