Imagine a chat GPT type of program that was optimized to create crazy QAnon type conspiracy theories. It would constantly test the responses of users to see which ones really get them going. We're already seeing signs of this sign up to Fetchy and some interesting work, you know, analyzing the way social media exaggerates and amplifies creepy ideas. But imagine that whole thing on steroids. Can you imagine it driving antagonistic social movements kind of over the edge or making a lot of these current trends worse? I can't imagine that.
