Manzana is the managing director of Renupa, a company which produces energy from renewable sources. He says India's power demand is growing at about 5 to 6% every year. "We just can't replace it, replace them with renewables that rapidly," he adds. The intergovernmental panel on climate change has warned heat waves will grow more powerful and frequent in this century.
