The Tory Party's Resilience
You have written in your book that support for the Tories might just prove more resilient than many of their opponents imagine. Why do you say that? Because there are still big doubts about the Labour Party among some quite crucial groups of voters. We also have to remember that the economy, while it isn't going gangbusters, isn't failing as badly as perhaps some people thought it might. I think though in the end, the economic fundamentals are very difficult for the Conservative Party. And if you look at the way that Labour is able during election campaigns to massively increase the extent to which the health service becomes the kind of number one issue or the number two issue then that's going to be quite difficult
