How to Resolve Disputes in Space
We don't have a registry for things that go to the moon at this point, but we need one. Article 11 of the outer space treaty says, why don't you tell the UN what you're going to do up there and the UN will record it? And so that's one way maybe of doing it. But you can't go and walk up to the UN and say, I'm going to go here. Don't make sure nobody becomes too close to me. We actually have a treaty which makes it impossible to have that. If a state, a nation can't own territory in space, how is property divvied up? Right? We can't go by our government
