There have been biographers over time who've said that Percy made some edits. I haven't seen any textual evidence to make us doubt that Mary was being truthful when she said that his influence was more along the lines of encouragement and inspiration. We'll save Percy Shelley's death until part two of our episode on Percy Shelley, but let's just say now that Italy looked like it would be good for the Shelley's.
