The Importance of Second Baptism

Some Anglican churches have seen something almost like rebaptism happening. It's baptism by definition is once you can't come into the house twice. If somebody has behaved as if they weren't in the house then there may be all sorts of ways of recognizing and celebrating under God but I wouldn't myself go anywhere near treating that as a second baptism. We in the West have often thought of baptism as something which we do to this candidate. So baptism is something that we all do together frequently into which we incorporate this person who's come as a candidate.
