A lot of those things that you describe are not consumed intentionally. They're consumed mindlessly as a distraction. So yes, when they're available, they're the thing you do when you feel a bit uncomfortable and don't want to feel an emotion. And instead you put on Netflix, you eat some food, you drink some alcohol, or you go on social media. Just an all that behavior. But that doesn't remove the fact that there's something there. For most people, I think for a lot of people, it's not even that deep. It's not that they have this such big issues that they unpack through this thing. Sometimes it's just they're not intentional
