Planting Trees in the Savannah Areas

Trees are visible and attractive, so they can grab the public attention. So i still think tree planting where trees once existed, so re forestsation, rather than a foreststation. If you plant it up with native species, it's a good thing to do. There have been some crazy suggestions about how many trees we could plant all over the world. And when you look at the maps of those, it's all in savannah areas or areas that would be naturally step vegetation. You don't want to destroy those systems by planting trees on he grass lands which contain natural stores of carbon.
