i've wasted so much of my life arguing with smart asses who don't know anything, but they want to tell you that, oh, no, all this clearly can't work. It's honestly something that i truly avoid and just try to end these conversations. You underestimate how much people who watch tev a don't think these people just don't have brains of their own. And like, when when the tone is hostile, then you just have to disengage and tell them to have fun staying. Don't take it personally when people in your friends and family start getting aggressive about it.
