The History of the Police

Sir Robert Peel in the first third of the 19th century say 1820s established what was known then as the new police. In London at least it worked better right that uniform that we think of was intended to be more friendly. He instructed all of those police officers to use restraint to use persuasion rather than weaponry. The ultimate goal is to understand that you know in many cases communities are more likely to treat each other as valuable if there's someone causing problem they're not going to recognize that person as necessarily valuable to that neighborhood.
