Longer Durations of Exercise Result in Better Sleep

Long bouts of exercise can be associated with a moderate reduction in the amount of REM sleep. The effect mirrors the same findings observed earlier regarding just the basic comparison of exercise relative to no exercise. So overall, we do find this association with longer durations of exercise resulting better sleep improvements. But some studies that haven't found that relationship as robustly.
