The History of Facebook Messenger

Some approaches were based on like building a multi-communicator stuff. Pigeon, Miranda on the windows or some other applications they aimed to basically do that and you had like multiple plugins for different networks. But yeah I think eventually they gave up because the services they never thought that standardized so they kind of pulled the plug on them. The problem with that approach or like lack of feature was that okay you could message someone from let's say different networks like people from messenger, people from what's happened what not but like you couldn't message someone over Facebook messenger and that wouldn't be routed to different WhatsApp icon. There was no interoperability between those.
