How Does the Anger Button Impact Your News Feed?
Professor kate clonock, who has spent many, many years studying social media companies, wrote a recent twitter thread that points out something very similar. Many of the stories that are getting attention o the ones where one small bit of research is presented in the worst possible light and then taken completely out of context. And i worry that the end result of this won't be better behavior, but companies less willing to do any such research.
