How Did You Get Your First TV Writing Job?
Jay Parini: I was hired on Zoo specifically because like their resident comic book nerd wasn't returning and they needed to kind of fill that gap. And then when Supergirl came along, that felt like sort of the perfect storm. You mentioned sort of this right time, right place. It feels like if people are looking at you as the superhero guy, then, you know, it took you a few years to get to Supergirl.
