Doles Applications - Is There a Doles Regime?
In July last year, the National Doles Court opened to deal with applications like this. Although statistics are still being gathered, it's likely that the annual total of these applications may exceed 1000. There was a stage a month or two ago when I was dealing with these applications at least two or three times a week. It was quite an extraordinary increase. The applications go to the High Court of Justice Family Division not to the Family Court and that is an important distinction.
