Is Self Esteem in Males Sexually Selected?

Self esteem in itself would not be selected for. But i think some of the things, like the idea of dence, desire for status, all those sorts of things that i think are very attractive to women typically. Men with high levels of self esteem tended to perceive women with high self esteem as being less warm and less trustworthy than women with moderate levels of selfesteem. In contrast, when they were evaluating men self esteem, as it rose a theostensible self esteem level of the target, they perceived the male to be even warmer, kinder. The same sting just was not true in the way men perceived women with highself esteem.
