Is It a Leap to Extend That Same Appreciation for Historical Experiences to a Country Like China?

I can not imagine an educated, or reasonably a liberal, white american to day saying to a black life's matter activist, or to somebody pushing for reparations, ha, slavery ended a hundred and 50 years ago. Or that same person saying, you no, the memory of slavery is being kept alive through democratic party propaganda and the public school system. No, it's so frustrating here. Granted, i think Americans today learn much more about the experience of their black compatriots they do, say about china.
