Is the Loyalty a Liar?

Socrates says there are two lies that socrates brings into hell. The first is a lie that we're all born from the same plot of land, so that the earth wherewe our plot of land gave birth to us. He's not exactly certain if this will persuade the rulers. And i think there's a suggestion that it ultimately doesn't persuade them. It might be more intended for the guardians or the auxiliaries and the artisan class.
