The Importance of Faith
It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be the heir of the world but through the righteousness that comes from faith. He faced the fact that his body was as good as dead since he was about 100 years old and that Sarah's room was also dead yet he did not waver regarding the promise of God. That is why it was credited him as righteousness for us who believe in Jesus our Lord from the dead.
