Introduction

We know that those who struggle with addiction suffer in their own way, but how much compassion should the betrayed partner feel for them? One of the members of our private Connection Plus community asked this very question and we wanted to share our response to them here on our podcast. While compassion often comes to us easily in a variety of circumstances, it's a lot more complicated to access it when you've been betrayed by your partner. In today’s episode we discuss different facets of compassion and how to allow it to come about organically with time and the right circumstances. It's important to understand all of the factors that allow it to become a distant piece of the puzzle to healing the relationship.

Jody has been a strong voice supporting women as co-host of the podcast “Speak Up Sister”. She completed a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and is an ACA certified coach. She runs a small business and has years of experience in corporate training and organization.
