Adaptive Leadership Is Always Tied to a Context

In adaptive leadership, it's very hard to adapt when you're not on the call face in the context. I had so many times we're sitting there reading some book and I come up with some brilliant theory... And then I come into the office and go, oh, that's no way that it work. So adaptive leadership is always tied to a context. We weren't masters of how to lead through global pandemic because we'd never been through one,. But we were narrating how we were trying to think about it.
