Benjamin Netanyahu described the state of Israel's creation as a fulfillment of the Christian Restorationist Messianic prophecy. He merely said it to ingratiate himself with those ardent Zionists supporters, says Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. The Jews did not take much notice of Netanyahu's sermon because they're not familiar with the fact that it's taken from another religion, he adds.
