The Role of Framing in the 2008 Election

From a political perspective, careers were made and ruined in the aftermath of the financial crisis. The 2008 election is probably very much a product of that fallout. It's really fascinating to see how the different parties have a protest issue and have assigned blame. Voters haven't been approving of the economy. This could feed into a narrative that Biden did a bad job on the economy when it comes down to electing a new president in 2024.
