The Role of Religion in Social Media
I think a lot of conspiracy theories feel to me like religion in a sort of another form. It's very much that idea that it's kind of reassuring to think that someone's in charge. Our lives aren't just random accidents where, you know, we're all crashing around in confusion. And that's what I think what conspiracy theories serve as well as religion.
