Kirk: The Korean bureaucracy's preference for Newbridge Capital not being a bank, and thus less likely to make trouble for the government. I think the strong preference of Korean government was for HSBC to buy one of the banks because they wanted a world-class bank with best international practices. But our terms were simply better, our terms and conditions were simply better to the government. And eventually, HSBC was not competitive with its rival.
