Ongoing Migration Crisis at the U.S.-Mexico Border

• First, we’ll begin in Mexico, where on Wednesday, President Claudia Sheinbaum initially refused to recognize Donald Trump as the winner of the U.S. presidential election until every last vote was counted. • Then, a new caravan of roughly 3,000 migrants are reportedly heading to the U.S. border, in what Border Patrol officials describe as a mad dash to cross into America before President Joe Biden’s term comes to an end.
