How Do You Get People to Care About Non-Humans?

I'm curious about what you've learned from all this activism. When I first realized that chimpanzees were disappearing and the forests were being destroyed in 1986, I felt that I had to learn more about it. If we don't help the people to find ways of making a living without destroying the environment, we can't even try to save the chimps. And so because we began this program, Take Care or Takari, which is very holistic, they've come to understand that protecting the environment is for their own future.
